Another important factor…
People whose niche is tech have not higher conversion rate because readers are well aware of advertisement but general blogs have higher rate of conversion because people are not aware of the advertisement and interesting ads amaze them thus higher CTR.

your reply to Techie Zone actually answers my problem as well. When you choose “technology” as your niche, and start including smaller niches like internet, PC, mobile etc, your ROA will surely decrease :(

Very interesting contribution with minium bounce back. However, we do not see any G A Ads on your site.
-Are you passing the getation time by removing the ads?
-what are your other good advices for the users how to earn major incomes other than GA Ads.

Yes, that is right, but generally said the conversion rate goes down. People reading your general blog will most likely not purchase anything about credit cars/insurance on the advertisers website. Consequently the advertisers ROI goes down and google will adjust the pricing of the ad. Whereas if you have an audience which is highly interested in your content then you will also get a decent amount of sales. That is only the case with niche sites.

@Techie:
Had a quick-look on your website. What I noticed is your low niche-relevancy. The same reason as for Mega applies: General websites give a low amount of sales for the advertiser. Low amount of sales equals low Cost Per Click and consequently low earnings. I am having the same problem: I know a lot about other topics than blogs which might be interesting for my readers, but, should I publish them on this blog or make another one? Publishing them would result in less niche relevancy and a lower CPC.

If anyone has some suggestions then please let me know.

Very nicely and accurately explained. It gives a detail idea about what to expect from the niche. I was wondering why my tech site with a good CTR does not earn much from adsense. Could you please review a list of high paying keywords/ niche for adsense or mail them to me? I will be obliged.

Nice article, but i have one query, suppose i have a general blog, and i write a post about lets say credit cards or insurance, which are considered to be high paying niches. Well then the adsense ads will be based on the post and hence should be high paying.
