Haha analysing stats is so true! When I started I was checking like every hour!
Can I add another one: Checking your email! If you have you email alerts set to 5 minutes then as soon as you get an email you are interrupted, depending on the email it may take an hour to get back on track!

Thanks for sharing these insights! I am having constant problems concentrating on what I want to do - that's why I am advancing far slower in what I want to achieve than what I had planned. It is so important to make a time plan and an action plan for yourself, and if you are one of the people who just get distracted real easy, maybe buying an egg timer or something can do the trick - or some sort of alarm that you can set so you can set and monitor your time spent on any given task. That's what I have to do! :)

It takes ten to fifteen minutes to create a decent blog entry. Less if you can type faster. I don't see how a real life can get in the way of that....

Haha, I'm so terrible when it comes to designs. I design all of my websites, and if I see even the slightest pixel out of place, or there's not enough space between something I will stop what I'm doing and fix it. Such a bad habit, especially when I'm in the middle of writing a post.

That is so true! each of them is very important, but so easily distract us from focusing on our blog.

I'm definitely distracted by the design aspect, haha. I have a couple of sites to take care of, though, so I try to "finish" one design and move on to the next site, or go back and write content.
